E-commerce & Sales Systems Consulting · New York

Better systems. Better online sales.

E-commerce, CRM, Sales Funnels & Operations.

I help established retailers, food businesses and consumer brands organize and improve how they sell online. Your store, customer journey, CRM and follow-up, order operations, email marketing and analytics, connected into one system your team can run. We find what’s holding sales back, and then I help set it up.

Common situations

Does this sound familiar?

Six situations I see most often in established product businesses. Each one points to a part of the sales system below.

  1. Your online store is live, but sales are slower than expected.

  2. Shopify, marketplaces, social media and other sales channels are disconnected.

  3. Visitors browse products or abandon checkout without purchasing.

  4. Customer information exists, but CRM, email follow-up and retention processes are not properly organized.

  5. Too many sales and order operations are handled manually.

  6. Marketing costs money, but it is difficult to identify which activities drive profitable sales.

You don’t always need more tools. You need a better-connected sales system.

See the four service areas

Services

Four parts of one online sales system.

Your store, funnel, operations and numbers affect each other. I work across all four, in the order your business needs, from diagnosis to setup and handover.

E-commerce Setup & Optimization

The store and channels where people buy.

  • Shopify store configuration and improvements
  • Product catalogs and merchandising
  • Product pages and conversion optimization
  • Online ordering and checkout journeys in Shopify and Toast
  • Shipping, fulfillment and order workflows
  • Marketplace and delivery-app operations, such as Etsy and DoorDash

Sales Funnels & Customer Journey

How a visitor becomes a customer, and a customer comes back.

  • Sales funnel mapping
  • Lead capture and qualification
  • Customer journey optimization
  • Conversion improvement
  • Abandoned checkout follow-up
  • Retention and repeat-purchase flows
  • Sales follow-up processes

Sales Operations & Automation

The systems behind every order and every customer record.

  • CRM and customer databases
  • Email marketing and Klaviyo flows
  • Order processing systems
  • Workflow organization
  • Platform integrations
  • Sales and operational analytics
  • Practical implementation and team handover

Growth & Performance Optimization

What the numbers say, and what to improve next.

  • Review of current acquisition channels
  • Performance analysis in Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Product, offer and margin review, using sales and QuickBooks data
  • Conversion and retention analysis
  • Prioritized improvement roadmaps
  • Ongoing e-commerce operations support

Hands-on in my own businesses

  • Shopify
  • Klaviyo
  • Toast
  • Etsy
  • DoorDash
  • Google Analytics 4
  • Google Ads
  • Meta Ads
  • QuickBooks
  • Marketplaces

These are examples of what I’ve run myself, not the limits of what I work with. When a project needs a specific CRM platform, custom integrations or development work, we scope it together and bring in technical specialists where needed, with a clear split of who does what.

Who I help

For businesses that already sell, and need online sales to work as one system.

I work with established small and growing businesses: retailers, food businesses and consumer brands that already have products, customers and some online channels, but not yet a system that connects them.

Retail stores & product brands

What usually goes wrong

  • A physical store adding online sales half-way
  • Store, website and marketplaces run separately
  • Prices, stock and product information differ by channel
  • No clear view of which channel actually makes money

I connect the channels into one sales system: one catalog, consistent pricing, a clear order flow and reporting you can trust.

Food businesses

What usually goes wrong

  • Online orders and delivery that strain the kitchen
  • A menu that doesn’t translate well to online ordering
  • Delivery apps, own ordering and the counter on different rules
  • Promotions that bring orders but not margin

I structure the menu, pricing and ordering flow in tools like Toast and delivery apps, so online orders work for the kitchen and for the margin.

Shopify stores & online brands

What usually goes wrong

  • Traffic arrives, but conversion stays low
  • Abandoned checkouts and one-time buyers nobody follows up
  • Email, CRM and ads set up separately, with no shared data
  • Order operations that depend on one person remembering everything

I review the store, funnel and follow-up end to end, then fix product pages, email flows, CRM workflows and order processes in order of impact.

Selected work

Businesses I’ve built, run and helped organize.

Each project is described as it is: my role, what was built, and where it stands now. I don’t publish figures without the owner’s permission and data behind them.

  • MarketplacesUkrainian online marketplaces
  • 47Multibrand retail stores across Ukraine
Context
A children’s clothing brand I founded in 2017 and developed into a multichannel business in Ukraine: online sales, Ukrainian online marketplaces and distribution through 47 multibrand retail stores, alongside showrooms and trade exhibitions.
What it shows
Running one product range across online and offline channels at the same time.
My work
  • Brand development
  • Product & assortment strategy
  • Marketing
  • Commercial development
  • Online sales
  • Marketplace sales
  • Distribution to multibrand stores
  • Showroom & trade exhibitions

YUMSTER is where I learned what my clients face now: one product range, several sales channels, and each channel needing the right assortment, price and presentation.

Case 04

The same sales-system thinking applied to a service: who it’s for, what exactly is sold, and what happens to every inquiry.

Case 05

MamaCasalla

Family restaurant in Odesa, Ukraine · Co-owner, 2010–2023

Thirteen years as co-owner of a family restaurant with its own eclectic character, live entertainment, a children’s area and a large food operation running every day.

  • Eclectic identityA distinctive, eclectic look and feel that gave the room its own personality.
  • Family hospitalityA place for the whole family, built around how parents and children spend an evening out.
  • Live entertainmentEntertainment as part of the guest experience, planned together with service and the kitchen.
  • Children’s areaSpace for children inside the restaurant, part of the concept from the start.
  • A substantial kitchenA large menu and food operation that had to work every service, not just on good nights.
My role
Co-owner from the opening in 2010 until 2023.
What I worked on
  • Concept development
  • Restaurant management
  • Daily operations
  • Team & service standards
  • Customer experience
  • Menu & food operation
  • Marketing & communication
  • Pricing & profitability
Stage
Co-owned 2010–2023. This describes my time as co-owner, not the restaurant today.

Owning a restaurant teaches you that marketing and operations are one job. A promotion the kitchen can’t handle costs more than it brings in.

About

I know business from the inside.

For about twenty years I’ve worked in marketing and business, most of that time running my own companies rather than advising other people’s.

I’ve opened restaurants and run teams of more than a hundred people. I’ve built a children’s clothing brand, worked on marketing for a shopping mall, and been part of a meat-production business. Today I co-own a food brand in the US, where I handle everything from the Shopify catalog to wholesale conversations.

That’s why I don’t treat marketing as something separate. It’s connected to the product, the price, the kitchen or warehouse, and the people who fulfill the order. I care about all of it, and about the numbers that show whether it works.

I work directly with owners. My job is to turn a messy business problem into a short list of decisions and concrete steps, then help carry them out.

Selected brands & creative direction

The brands behind the businesses.

Background from businesses I’ve founded or developed. Some identities I designed myself; others were executed by designers under my leadership. Brand work is part of my business projects, not a standalone design service.

My approach

How I work with a business.

Yuliia Litvinenko reviewing a clothing collection on the rack

Understand first, then decide.

I start with how the business really runs today: orders, margins, the team, the customer. Recommendations come after that.

No tools for the sake of tools.

A new app or platform is only worth it if it solves a specific problem. Often the fix is a simpler menu or a clearer process.

See the whole business.

Product, price, channels, operations and marketing are one system. I don’t optimize one part at the expense of another.

The work doesn’t end with a presentation.

A plan is useful when someone carries it out. I stay involved through implementation, to the extent we agree on.
